This morning we all got up and went to the 7:30 church service. It was in Creole so I didn’t understand a thing that was said, but one day I hope to!
As for the storm the night before, well, many houses were flooded. We received over 6 inches of rain. Someone had a rain gauge and it filled up completely. Our house had water coming in some of the doors, but we seemed to manage ok. The lightning was nonstop the night before and we found out that it had struck Roger and Norma’s house. It fried their computer and Norma said she saw the spark from the other room. It was a bit crazy considering you cannot see the computer from the living room!
