Hurricane Hanna:

Last night we all went to bed after it had been raining for several hours. When I woke up I was glad that it was overcast and the temperature was cool. What I didn’t realize was that we were getting quite a bit of hurricane Hanna’s rain and wind. The wind was quite powerful and the rain was intermittent but when it did rain, it rained fairly hard. The erosion was so bad that the ocean, which is normally blue and very transparent, was brown just like flood water usually is. Below are a few pictures of what it normally looks like and then what it looked like today! Also, the picture with the boat under the rainbow was destroyed by the waves and is no longer.

Thanks for the pictures. Love the double rainbow. The second one is barely visible but it is there. Blessings to you and your mission. Say hi to Mike and Blandine!

Love the wave photos. Even when nature is brutal it is still beautiful.
