While we were out, I took a picture of the progress the most recent team has made on the SonCenter building. Now that most of the steel is up, it really seems like it is coming together. Below is a picture of it from today. I'll try to get a picture of the kayak up soon, so check back to this day's post within a few days.

After school today, Thom and I had planned on going kayaking. I had never been before and had wanted to ever since I got here. As I mentioned, I also want to make my way over to the island La Tortuga. I haven't been there so it would not only be fun to see it, but to kayak over there as well. Getting out once a week or so will help me get into shape and ready if Thom agrees to it. I have been working out on a regular basis but I also need to keep in shape aerobically if I want to make the jaunt over there.

That is a stunning photo of the new building. I am used to seeing it from inside the site of from the Sonlight side. It is more amazing than I imagined. It will be good to see it in a couple of months.
