This morning, I went to church and Sunday school afterward as normal. I was sitting in Sunday school next to Stanley, a 5th grader. I like going to the 5th/6th grade Sunday school because it gives me time to hang out with the 6th graders, who I teach math to, and meet some of the 5th graders which I will be teaching next year.
As I was sitting there, Stanley reached over and grabbed my pen. I didn't mind, so he sat there holding it and studying it. A minute later I see him pull the cap off and sometime around that point I stopped paying attention to what he was doing and started listening to the lesson. A few minutes later he is tapping me on the arm to show me what he has done. He took the pen and colored his thumb print completely black. At which he starts putting his thumb print all over the desk like he is a human stamp. As funny as it was, especially after seeing that big grin on his face, I had to stop him because he was making a mess. Toward the end of class we played a game as we normally do and then went home.

You weren't paying attention to this at all. Uh huh, more likely that you were instructing him :)
