I awoke today to hearing a light rain. I got up, showered and got dressed for church. Once I was ready, I noticed that the rain had picked up a bit. I went outside, unlocked the padlock on the first door, then walked over to our gate and looked over. At this point it had rained so much that water was already flowing down our street. I realized that it was too high to walk in, unless I wanted my dress shoes submerged in water. None of us went to church today and it continued to rain all day. It wasn’t until about 2PM or so until it had slowed down enough for me to be able to go outside of our gate. Below is a picture of the street from just outside our gate. I walked out onto the concrete step/block and then took a picture to the right.
